This is an essential bit of kit for any 360 owner. Can charge two batteries simultaneously os 1 while using the other. Takes about 3-4 hrs for two batteries or just under 2 hours for 1. Essential really if you're going wireless. Comes with a battery as well. Worth getting a second battery.

This comes as a highly recommended piece of kit, especially when you are into doing plenty of online multiplayer gaming.
It will fully charge a completely flat battery in a couple of hours and a full battery will give you 25-30 hours of gaming time.
The charger takes two batteries but comes supplied with only one, so a second battery is an essential purchase. There is nothing worse than your controller battery going flat on you when you are in the middle of an online firefight and with this it literally takes seconds to change a battery.

Hi i already had the play and charge kit which broke after 3 months and was a bit of a pain to be honest. But this piece of kit is excellent can have two batteries charging at one time so i never run out. Comes with a battery too which is ideal.

This thing is great - I bought it after getting annoyed that my controller kept running out of batteries. It works like a charm and charges quite quickly (compared to others)and the fact you plug it into the mains is a bonus meaning you don't have to leave your x-box on standby.
I would recommend that you get an extra rechargeable pack though because if your in the middle of a game and it runs out of charge you can just switch it over. I would say get this rather than one of the copy ones because there is a chance they won't work - being made by x-box you know you can trust it

Not much to add to the title - this kit is a great idea if you play any more often than once a week. The rechargable battery included will charge in around 2 hours from flat, and lasts a long time - at least a month for me. Buy another rechargable battery and you never need to buy AA's again!

As per the other reviews this product does exactly what it states on the tin, it's a high speed battery charger and does that job admirably well, the fact that it comes with an additional battery is a bonus barring the fact that it's white and my elite controllers are black. To be honest this isn't really a problem as who's going to a) give a monkeys b) really see it when you've got it in your hand.
I did read another review which mentions a buzzing noise when charging, I must say it is at a frequency that I found very annoying and could quite easily give me a headache (imagine the feedback noise from a hearing aid being in the room), therefore if you're planning on charging the battery whilst you're in the same room you might want to consider getting a standard battery recharger with rechargeable AA batteries as you could also use them for other devices and they'd be much quieter.
I must say neither the colour or the noise of kamikazee wasp bother me greatly as I just charged it in a different room in the house, all in all 4 stars purely because there's no need for it to sound so loud and that rechargeable AA's would be more versatile.Source: [amazon.co.uk]

Well worth it i bought a 360 lead charger, it stopped working after 1 month it didnt fully charge batteries,this quick charger does the job leaving the battery fully charged in about 2 hrs

faulty charger, 20 Nov 2009
Received charger fairly swiftly from Indigostarfish.
Struggled with MS's horrid packaging and plugged it in. Put new battery and one of my original batteries on charge.
New battery was charging ok, but my older battery wouldn't charge. It was showing an error on the charge light. Thought nothing of this at first as my original battery was fairly old.
I very nearly threw my old battery away because it wouldn't charge and was quite old anyway.
Good job I didn't throw it out, as the charger wouldn't charge any battery on the left charging socket.
There was nothing wrong with the old battery. It would charge fine using the right hand socket.
I contacted Amazon who arranged with Indigostarfish to send out a replacement.
This replacement never arrived.
When I contacted Amazon again to notify of missing delivery, they immediately refunded my money.
I don't wish to slate Indigostarfish in this instance as I don't believe they were directly responsible for the first item not working properly as it was in a sealed package. The fact that the replacement never reached me could have been down to the postal strike that was on at the time(I have just received a magazine one week after getting the next months issue). So I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
Only problem is I am out of pocket, in postage, for returning the faulty goods and have nothing to show for it.
I have nothing but praise to how Amazon have acted with regards to this purchase and will continue to be a satisfied customer of theirs. However I am not certain about some of their marketplace traders. Some of the postal charges are rather high. Not in this instance though!

I have read various reviews saying it is better to have purchased rechargeable batteries than this product. I'm new to the Xbox scene and was advised by a friend to buy this and 3 additional batteries!!!! Ok it sounds a little excessive and at first I did feel it was a waste of money. Since playing more games online such as call of duty and left 4 dead I've experienced the mid game play and your controller disconnects. With the charger pack it's quick and easy to swap the packs over. The charger is quick and the lights turns green once fully charged which helps to avoid overcharge.

Excellent. Indispensible for any XBOX 360 adict player. It only takes less than an hour to recharge, and the battery lasts about a month playing 30-40 hours/week!!! Forgett alkalin batteries.

Excellent charger does the the job well. Its compact and it does have 2 slots to charge 2 battery packs at once which is handy to keep 1 on charge then just switch them over when needed. It pays for itself its saved me lots of money on batteries. Recommended top buy.

I bought the quick charge kit because the play & charge one was so unreliable, and it does pretty much what it says on the tin. You can charge 1 or 2 battery packs at a time and they'll be done quite quickly, with a light to indicate when they're fully charged.

Buy proper batteries, 29 Aug 2009
I brought this a few months ago now and the battery life is really poor. You get a few days where the battery works fine and then after that, the vibration function starts to die, the headset goes really quiet and after a week, the battery needs charging again. What I now do is buy Durecell Supreme 2650mah AA rechargable batteries and they can last from 3 weeks to one month. Much much better in my opinion.

got the quick charge kit the next day plugged it in(mains charging not on the xbox 360) charged it up only took 2hours to charge but i have to batterys now, the have lasted me a few days bnd are now only just starting to lose the charge' The only con i can i can find is that its a bit of a pain to get the battery in to the charge but well worth the money would recommand to any one

This is a must have for anyone with a xbox.No more batterys to buy and it only takes two hours to charge one battery which then gives you 25 hours of game play.Looks good siiting next to the xbox too because the design is the same as the console.I will be buying a second battery for the other controler.This is the thing.

If you have rechargeable AA sized accus use them because MS includes a battery case with their game controllers that can take normal batteries or your loaded accus. They do the same as this specific product (and the load status gets displayed on the console as well) but are more versatile. I compared both possibilities and am sastisfied with both of them.

This is a great bit of kit,I have never liked having to leave my 360 on just to charge the battery pack,so this which plugs into a normal wall socket is great,it can charge 2 rechargeable battery packs at a time, so there's no problems if you suddenly run out of charge at a critical point. A MUST BUY.

I've had nothing but trouble from this charger. I'm now about to ask Amazon for a second replacement. It seems after about 9-18 months the charger just dies on one side and one of the batteries dies too. Lets hope they let me change it again...

This is a good solid product, charges very quickly and the batteries last longer than i can think, had it at least 6 weeks now and have only done about 3 charges, and i'm a very heavy user of my xbox :).
